Welcome to the website of guitarist and composer Gary Hickey
Based in Shropshire, England I specialise in acoustic instrumental guitar music covering a range of styles and genres.
From a beginning as a classical guitarist I have worked in recital settings, through theatre pit and session work, ensembles, and bands, as well as solo shows.
My current projects include a vocal duo (see the Tequila Moon link), a violin/guitar/vocal trio exploring instrumental folk music from England and the Appalachian styles (see the Bridging the Gap link), and also solo ambient and relaxation original compositions to support yoga and meditation (see the link).
